X-War!

This is a strategy game that I and my best friends have created at school. The only thing you will need is a notebook or grid sheet and colored pencils or pens for each player!

Objetive:

Capture the capitals of the other players, preventing yours from being captured first.

Preparation:

  1. A random map is generated.
  2. A square is chosen to place the capital, a name is created for the country and a color is determined for each player.
  3. On the first turn, an "x" should be placed in a square adjacent to the capital. This will be your first infantry troop.opa de infantería.

Development of the Game:

The game is played by playing rounds for each player starting with the youngest. A player in each round will do the following:

  1. In the first turn you must generate an "x" next to your capital.
  2. In subsequent turns you must place an "x" of 1 to 2 squares from another "x". You can move diagonally.

If there are many "x" enemies adjacent to each other, you must surround all the squares adjacent to them to eliminate them all.

To eliminate an "x" from the enemy, they must be surrounded by their 4 adjacent squares, not by their 4 diagonals.

  • In the graph, the blue "x" highlighted in yellow indicates that this is the "x" that the blue player placed:

  • The captured "x" must be filled with the color of the player who captured it:

  • In case you and your opponent have surrounded their "x" with each other, you must eliminate the following "x":

  • The method of capturing a capital is the same as capturing an "x". When the capital is adjacent to the "x", it should surround all the squares adjacent to it:

  • The edge of the field can help when capturing an "x":

  • At the time of surrounding, all squares must be occupied by "x". If there is a free square, you will not be able to surround the "x" set until all the squares are completely occupied.
The blue player can't surround the set of red "x" :,v
I think these explanations will be enough for everyone to understand how this beautiful game is played: 3. If you have already played some games, you should try this beautiful expansion:

Naval Expansion:

This expansion is ideal if we want to play in a maritime field like the following maps:
